I shared photos of San Diego food and the whale cruise, but I never got around to the rest. Here's the rest of our trip in photos.
We stayed at the historic St. James Hotel. The location was excellent. The set-up of the room was perfect for sharing, since it had seperate bedrooms. The hotel also had a rooftop patio with spectacular views. Additionally, it is home to the fastest elevator... in 1913. It's not quick by today's standards, but it was a wild ride.
Downtown San Diego is great, lots of bars and good eats in the gaslamp and getting around is a breeze.
One day we caught sunrise in the city and sunset at Ocean Beach.
