Saturday, it was sunny and 70. I opened all the windows in the house and let the fresh air circulate the old stale air while I ran errands and cleaned house.
Sunday was even better, the sun continued to shine but it warmed up somewhere into the upper 70’s. The best part was Frank and I were both off to enjoy it. It was delightful, so often, we’re stuck at work on beautiful days. We took full advantage of the nice weather; Frank worked on the Jimmy while I tended to the front yard. I filled four trash bags with leaves and pine needles that covered the lawn and flower beds. I pruned bushes, trimmed palms and trees, and planted stock flowers I bought with my mom last week. It was a full day, but we were productive. Now that the front yard is done, I can get started on the backyard. There’s so much to be done, it’s a bit overwhelming, and I’m not sure where to begin. I think I’ll get a jump on that this weekend.

The neighbors’ plum tree is in full bloom. It’s lovely.

My friend, Andie, offered to tinker with the above photo in photoshop after I complained about the lighting. Below is her finished project. I think someday when I have some extra funds, I may buy the program. I’m always amazed what can be accomplished with a few touch ups.
