Quick, Easy, and Tasty

I tried another new recipe for dinner last night. This one was a breeze to prepare.

One Pot Noodles with Chicken and Broccoli

2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 3/4 cups wide egg noodles, uncooked
2 cups frozen or fresh broccoli florets
10 oz. cooked seasoned chicken pieces (I used 2 grilled chicken breasts)
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

In a saucepan, combine broth, milk and butter; heat to boiling. Stir in uncooked noodles and broccoli; return to a boil. Reduce heat to medium; cover. Cook 7 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, or until noodles are tender and most liquid is absorbed. Stir in chicken; remove from heat. Stir in cheese.
