Cosmo Opens

We haven't missed an opening yet, so we had to attend the grand opening festivities at Cosmopolitan. The opening was lackluster with no fireworks, but I like the property more than I expected. I think they captured the city feel better than CityCenter. Still, there are many design flaws, but overall they did good with what they had to work with... awkward parcel, owners went bankrupt and it was finished by the bank. Not worth 3.9 billion, but it's nice. I'm excited to try the restaurants and I'd love to stay in one of the terrace suites... soon enough.

We went down a random elevator on the casino floor and found ourselves in valet. They use these stackers to increase parking availability. Pretty neat.

I'll have more details tomorrow, my Living-Las-Vegas article details some first impressions.
